INTEGRATED EDUCATION & TRAINING (IET)
Integrated Education and Training (IET) refers to contextualized English as a Second Language (ESL) or Basic skills classes that prepare English Language Learners to succeed in a specific career technical class (CTE). Career Technical education classes are available for all students. IET classes are specialized ESL classes to help prepare language learners for eligibility to enroll in CTE courses. ESL students in Intermediate High and Advanced levels are eligible.

An introduction to skills necessary for an entry level personal care attendant position. The class will prepare students with communicative language, expressions and basic directives on how to assist patients and their families in the home or assisted living environment. Class topics include: care attendant skill building, preventing incidents, nutrition, elder patient challenges and interfacing with family members.
